Healthcare

ASSOCIATION OF INDIAN MUSLIMS

why Healthcare

When the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded and lockdowns became a reality, A.I.M.’s volunteers worked swiftly and tirelessly to source and supply essential healthcare equipment, PPE, masks etc. to individuals recovering from illness or self-isolating at home. Having witnessed first hand the fragility of healthcare systems and stark health disparities, we firmly believe that ensuring consistent access to healthcare services and support is essential to the overall well-being and quality of life of vulnerable populations. Such support empowers them to preserve their health, manage chronic conditions, and comfortably age in place within their communities, pandemic or not.

What We Do

Through Kaar-e-Khair, A.I.M.’s volunteers and donors are making a profound impact on the lives of the sick and elderly in the city of Bhopal. This remarkable initiative is built on the foundation of compassion and community, aiming to provide essential home medical care equipment and ambulance services to those in need.

In a system where access to medical resources can be challenging for the economically disadvantaged, Kaar-e-Khair steps in as a beacon of hope. The initiative offers a lifeline to individuals who are unable to afford or access vital medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen concentrators, and hospital beds, right in the comfort of their homes.

A.I.M.’s team of volunteers works tirelessly to assess the needs of the sick and elderly, ensuring that the right equipment is provided promptly, thus enhancing their quality of life and facilitating their recovery.

What sets Kaar-e-Khair apart is its commitment to inclusivity and its mission to leave no one behind. Regardless of their religion, caste, or class, Kaar-e-Khair strives to offer support and dignity to all, embodying the belief that every individual deserves access to the care that can ease their suffering and enhance their well-being.
